::Outreach Services::
We
find that building long-term relationships with individuals is
an effective model that enables us to determine true needs, address
those needs and prioritize them accordingly. We distribute clothing,
food, blankets, hygiene products, and related goods on a daily
basis. We also carve out intentional time with individuals and
smaller groups. By spending larger amounts of time with smaller
amounts of people, our relationships with the homeless are very
strong and have resulted in a sense of community. This sense of
community creates a greater bond of trust, an environment for
openness and honesty, and a framework for long-term success.
::Healthcare
Services::
We
assist in signing up for Wishard Advantage and all of the documentation
involved therein, as well as assistance with waiving co-pays for
appointments and prescriptions. If available, we provide transportation
for appointments. We also act as a patient advocate for any homeless
individuals that are involved in a long term stay situation at
local hospitals.
::Current
Employment Services::
- Federal
Bonding: As the Federal Bonding Agent for the State of Indiana,
we help ex-offenders increase employment chances via the Federal
Bonding Program.
- Job
& Skills Database: We maintain employment histories
on our clients that include their current skill sets as well
as skills each client desires to obtain.
- Education:
We promote Continuing Education for clients with an interest
in, and aptitude for, college, trade school, or certification
in a skill. We assist with the processes and paperwork involved
for entrance.
- Conflict
Resolution: We provide conflict resolution prior to, and
during employment, helping clients work through problems rather
than quitting or being terminated.
- Communication
& Personal Presentation: Mock interviews help those
seeking employment to be prepared to answer challenging questions
and think on their feet. Clients are assisted in obtaining proper
business clothing for interviews and day-to-day use. Haircuts
and other hygiene needs are also addressed.
- Application
& Search Process: We provide a mailing address to an
actual street address, as well as a local number that can be
used as a message phone for employers to contact applicants.
In addition, all job seekers are given a toll free number they
can call to see if they have messages. We also assist with transportation
to pick up, fill out, and drop off applications.

Services::
- Urban
Bound Outreach: This program will provide opportunities
for corporate groups to participate in an effort to broaden
community involvement and awareness, as well as participate
in team-building events.
- Job
Aptitude & Personality Testing: We will help clients
understand themselves and their gifts to ensure long term success
and satisfaction in both the workplace and their personal lives.
- Technical
Training: Training for basic computer operation will be
offered, as well as training for online job searches and resume
building.
- Internships:
We will create partnerships with companies willing to hire homeless
clients for internships.

We
assist with obtaining identification, applying for SSI and SSD,
obtaining driver’s licenses, educational pursuits and much
more!
